Description:JOB SUMMARYThe Integral Counseling Psychology (ICP)
Program is accepting applications for a full-time faculty position,
to start Fall 2024. The ICP Master of Arts program educates future
psychotherapists by centering student development in the three
pillars: clinical skills training, transpersonal/spiritual
approaches, and social justice via a liberation psychology
framework. Successful candidates will demonstrate a reverence for
all three pillars in all aspects of the job.ESSENTIAL AND MINIMUM
QUALIFICATIONS
- Master's or doctoral degree in counseling psychology or related
field; licensed clinician (or license-eligible) in the State of
California
- Moderate to extensive successful experience teaching in
graduate clinical education and training
- Clinical experience in relational and long-term psychotherapy
with diverse clients
- Ability to teach graduate-level clinical foundation
courses
- Ability to teach graduate-level specialty courses
- Demonstrated ability to address and manage dynamics around
power, privilege, and oppression in the classroom
- Experience evaluating, advising, and mentoring graduate
students
- Interest in scholarly productivity
- Affinity for the CIIS mission and the three pillars of the ICP
programRequirements:PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Significant training and experience in relational, gestalt,
and/or transpersonal psychologies
- Experience in feminist, womanist, mujerista, LGBTQ+, and/or
liberation psychologies
- Specialization in Black, Latinx, Indigenous, and/or decolonial
psychologies
- Successful experience in community mental health settings
- A publication record and interest in research
- Experience collaborating on committees and projectsWAGES AND
BENEFITSSalary Range: Associate Professor: $79,000 - 92,000
Professor: $94,000 - 109,000NOTES TO CANDIDATE
- Working Conditions: Primarily performed in an office
environment.
