Join us! GoFundMe is seeking our next Principal Data Product
Manager who believes in the impact of GoFundMe and is passionate
about our mission to help people help others. In this role, you
will integrate seamlessly into our Data Team and focus on creating
meaningful impact for both our clients and our business operations.
As the lead product manager for our data organization, you'll be in
charge of establishing the vision, formulating the strategy, and
taking ownership of the planning and successful implementation of
our data products.

following locations: San Francisco, Los Angeles or San Diego,
CA.
The Job---
- Define and maintain the long-term vision and strategy for the
data platform in collaboration with engineering and business
teams.
- Drive roadmap execution, ensuring timely delivery of platform
features and improvements in alignment with business
needs.
- Partner with privacy, legal, and compliance teams to implement
necessary policies and ensure regulatory standards are met across
data initiatives.
- Oversee the integration of new data capabilities into the
platform, ensuring technical scalability and security while
addressing evolving business needs.
- Ensure the platform supports advanced analytics and business
intelligence needs, enabling stakeholders to access and derive
insights from the data effectively.
- Continuously assess and improve data quality, ensuring the
platform delivers accurate, reliable, and accessible data across
the organization.
- Collaborate with external vendors or partners to integrate
third-party tools and solutions that enhance the data platform's
capabilities.
- Foster a data-driven culture across the organization, ensuring
teams have the tools, training, and support needed to leverage data
in decision-making.
- Monitor platform performance and scalability, identifying
potential risks and proactively addressing system constraints to
support future growth.
You---
- 7+ years of experience in product management in the data or
data adjacent space with a proven track record of successfully
launching and managing data products.
- Experience in the space of privacy and data governance with
experience leading projects in that space. Experience working with
CDPs, instrumentation tools, and data lake infrastructure.
- Ability to work on multiple projects under pressure and thrive
in a fast-paced environment.
- Have a proven track record for building, launching and scaling
successful products. Can take an idea/opportunity from a problem
statement to a beautiful final product, leveraging the inputs of
functional expertise throughout the org.
- Proficiency in understanding and working with data, including
data analytics, data pipelines and an understanding of machine
learning concepts.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams,
understand technical constraints, and opportunities, and
translating them into product features.
- Strong communicator with the ability to bring people together
to define a common vision and plan for action.

The total annual salary for this full-time position is
$200,000-$260,000 + equity + benefits. As this is a hybrid
position, the salary range was determined by role, level, and
possible location across the US. Individual pay is determined by
work location and additional factors including job-related skills,
experience, and relevant education or training.
